Expomatik Trade Fair Data Platform

Terms of Use

Effective from: 13 August 2026 · Version 1.1

This translation is provided for information; the Turkish version is the binding text.

The rules that apply when you use the platform, the obligations of the parties and the limits of liability. By creating an account or using the service you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

1. Parties and acceptance

These terms govern the conditions of use between Expomatik (the “Platform”) and the member using the Platform (the “User”). By creating an account or using the Platform you are deemed to have accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the service.

The service is provided for commercial and professional use; it is not aimed at consumers.

2. Description of the service

The Platform provides: compilation and verification of trade fair exhibitor data; completion of corporate contact and decision-maker details; email campaigns and follow-up emails scheduled around trade fair dates; two sending channels (sending from your own account and sending through prepared infrastructure); collection of incoming replies in a single inbox; sales pipeline (CRM) records; daily sending reports; and webhook integrations. Collecting stand visitors (badge or QR scanning) is not part of the service. The full list of features is given on the Product page; prices and plan limits on the Pricing page.

3. Membership and account

You are responsible for creating your account with accurate, up-to-date details and for keeping your account secure. You are liable for the actions taken with your account. If you notice unauthorised use of your account, you must inform us immediately.

For security and evidential purposes, the Platform keeps records of security-critical operations (sign-in, changes to permissions or balance, data deletion requests, the start of a sending run). To preserve integrity, these records cannot be altered afterwards or deleted by the member; retention and anonymisation conditions are explained in the Privacy Notice.

4. Acceptable use

The following are strictly prohibited and lead to immediate suspension of the account when detected:

  • Sending to lists you have no right to contact
  • Concealing the sender identity, or using misleading subject lines or forged sender addresses
  • Failing to honour an unsubscribe request, or sending again to a recipient who has unsubscribed
  • Sending unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or malware-carrying content through the Platform
  • Attempting to exceed the system’s technical limits, circumvent security measures or disrupt the service
  • Selling, renting or redistributing the data you obtain to third parties

5. Commercial electronic message obligations

You declare that you have the right to contact the lists you send to and that the content complies with the applicable legislation. Responsibility for lists and content rests with the User. For commercial electronic messages aimed at Türkiye, the obligations under the Message Management System (İYS), and where the recipient is in the European Union, the obligations under the GDPR, rest with the User.

The Platform applies mandatory safeguards on its side: list verification before sending, a daily limit per sending address, suppression list checks, an unsubscribe link and sender identity in every message. The User’s declaration does not disable these safeguards; they protect the sending reputation of the Platform and of other members.

The Platform does not use open tracking (pixels) in any message. This is a deliberate choice, not a missing feature; see the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Fees and payment

Exhibitor list fees are deducted from your balance on a pay-as-you-go basis; sending tools are charged according to the plan you choose. Current prices are shown on the Platform and may change; changes are announced before they take effect and do not affect the current period.

Funds you add are allocated to the use of the service. If a transaction is erroneous or the service it paid for was not provided, the relevant amount is refunded to your balance. Because the service is provided for commercial purposes, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply; nevertheless, a claim for a fee charged for a service that was not provided is considered on request.

7. Right to use the data

You may use the data you obtain through the Platform only for your own legitimate business purposes. Selling, renting or republishing the data to third parties, or using it to build a competing data product, is prohibited. This obligation continues in respect of the data you obtained even after your membership ends.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform’s software, design, database structure and trademarks belong to the Platform; they may not be copied, reproduced or reverse-engineered without permission.

9. Service continuity

Reasonable efforts are made to provide the service without interruption; planned maintenance is announced in advance. The Platform is not liable for interruptions caused by external service providers, infrastructure failures or force majeure. In the event of a prolonged interruption, the fee for the affected period is refunded.

10. Limitation of liability

Data is compiled from public sources and verified; reasonable efforts are made to ensure its accuracy, but the User is responsible for the final use of the data and for the content sent. The Platform is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or loss of reputation. The Platform’s total liability is limited to the fees paid by the User in the three months preceding the date on which the claim arose.

11. Termination

In the event of a breach of these terms the account may be suspended or terminated; serious breaches may lead to termination without notice. The User may end their membership at any time. On termination you may request an export of your data; the request is fulfilled with an audit record.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes are notified through the Platform and by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after notification means you accept the current terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are heard by the courts and enforcement offices competent under the general provisions. The parties first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith.
