How big was the last edition?

IAAPA reported 38,520 verified attendees for the 2025 show, including 28,598 qualified buyers representing 20,316 buying companies from 102 countries. More than 1,100 exhibitors filled over 565,000 square feet. For 2026 the organiser has announced a floor nearly 50% larger, spread across the North, South and West concourses.

Who buys at IAAPA, and how?

Many buyers are owners of a capital project: an entrepreneur opening a family entertainment centre, a park adding a new themed area, a resort refreshing its water play. Decisions are slow and often fall into the next financial year, so a good conversation in November may turn into an order months later.

For rides and mechanical attractions, North American buyers ask about compliance with ASTM F24 standards and about insurance requirements. Having certificates and reference installations ready in English shortens that part of the conversation.

How can the exhibitor list help beyond direct sales?

A large share of exhibitors sell complementary products: game manufacturers and card or cashless system providers, water park designers and slide fabricators, theming studios and ride makers. They are natural partners for joint bids and distribution agreements, and they tend to answer a well-aimed introduction.

When should you get in touch?

Orlando is five hours behind the UK. Aim for a first contact around eight weeks before the show. The expo falls in the second half of November and US Thanksgiving follows shortly after, so send follow-ups within days of returning. Email to US companies falls under the CAN-SPAM Act. IAAPA also runs expos in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, which suit European suppliers who want a closer second chance.
