ArabPlast 2027 Exhibitor List

What does ArabPlast cover?

The fair is built around petrochemicals, plastics, rubber and packaging. For 2027 the organiser has announced eight halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre, a dedicated pavilion for recycling and finished goods, and a commercial forum, which gives the circular economy more room than before.

Visitors include processors, packaging converters and distributors of raw materials and machinery. Because Dubai works as a re-export hub, expect buyers from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, East Africa and South Asia as well as the UAE.

What helps a European supplier stand out?

Price competition from Asian machinery and materials is strong. European suppliers tend to win on after-sales service, spare parts availability, energy efficiency and process know-how. Naming a regional service partner or distributor in your first message carries weight, and so does a clear answer on installation and training. For UK firms, the Gulf is a familiar export market and English is the working language of trade.

How should you time contact?

In 2027 Ramadan is expected to run from around 8 February to 9 March, subject to the moon sighting, and the fair falls after Eid. Business slows during Ramadan, so make first contact in January and confirm meetings once Eid is over. Dubai is four hours ahead of the UK in March; most UAE businesses now work Monday to Friday with a Saturday and Sunday weekend.

How should you approach exhibitors?

Many exhibitors are regional distributors looking for new lines. Keep the first email short, in English, with a clear product scope and the markets you can serve from the Gulf. Campaign emails go to the company's general address; a line asking for the message to be passed to the purchasing or technical manager helps.
